Big Bang LLC Announces Beta Release of the Universal Imaging Utility System Deploy Plug-in (UIUSD) for Microsoft SCCM

UIUSD offers solution to alleviate time-consuming driver management

MILWAUKEE – November 30, 2011 – Today, Big Bang LLC announced the beta test release of the Universal Imaging Utility System Deploy Plug-in (UIUSD) for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. This new product from Big Bang addresses the problems current SCCM customers have with driver installation and management, and will allow SCCM users to easily create and maintain one hardware-independent hard drive image that can be easily deployed to any laptop or desktop regardless of manufacturer.

The UIUSD integrates smoothly with the SCCM console through Microsoft Operating System Deployment Task Sequence methodology and completely eliminates the need for SCCM administrators to locate, install, and manage driver files and driver packages. A fully vetted and updated driver database will be incorporated into a UIU specific Task Sequence. The driver database is updated regularly and will automatically update the UIUSD installation. The UIUSD also enables the creation of a Sysprep Answer File that will facilitate hardware-independent images while maintaining compliance with Microsoft requirements.

"We have talked to more and more SCCM customers who really appreciate the deep features and functionality of SCCM, but are continuously frustrated by arduous and time-consuming driver management," said Big Bang President, Adam Murphy. "We listened and created a brand new UIU product to specifically address the problems with driver handling for hardware-independent imaging within SCCM. The UIUSD Beta release is really solid and we are looking forward to the feedback."

Since 2004, Big Bang's Universal Imaging Utility has enabled IT departments to save considerable time and money by working with any existing cloning and deployment solution (Ghost, Acronis, Altiris, Zenworks, etc.) to create ONE hardware-independent hard drive image that can easily be deployed to any laptop or desktop regardless of manufacturer.

The UIU has been effectively deployed to over 3 million PCs worldwide for companies, government and healthcare agencies, and educational institutions.

Software company Big Bang LLC announces highest revenue in company history for first two quarters 2009.
Struggling IT departments turn to Big Bang software - Universal Imaging Utility (UIU) for hard drive imaging solution.

MILWAUKEE - July 15, 2009 - Today, Big Bang LLC announced that revenue for the first two quarters of 2009 was the highest ever achieved in company history. The company was founded in 2004 after developing the hardware-independent Windows® imaging software, the Universal Imaging Utility (UIU). The UIU is patented technology that makes possible the creation of a master hard drive image, that once cloned, can be deployed to any laptop or desktop regardless of manufacturer.

Overall revenue for the UIU has increased steadily since its inception. With the onset of the recession in late 2008 and the associated layoffs worldwide, Big Bang clients reported less available staff, yet saw little reduction in existing workload requirements. They indicated an immediate need for increased efficiency, greater consistency and faster turnaround from IT support. Consequently, total UIU sales for the first quarter of 2009 increased 18% over the previous year, and 26% over 2007. Cumulated sales for the first six months of 2009 rose by 20% year to year over 2008.

"We feel very fortunate to be where we are financially," said Big Bang President, Adam Murphy. "Hard drive imaging is an IT standard for most organizations, and so the process hasn't been reviewed or challenged for years. It's unfortunate that it took a recession for some to realize that adding the UIU to their imaging process can make such a tremendous difference. We are glad that more are becoming aware of the UIU's capabilities though, as we know it will help the bottom line of every business we touch."

The UIU has been effectively deployed to over 1.5 million PC's worldwide for companies, government and healthcare agencies, and educational institutions. About Big Bang LLC

Big Bang LLC receives patent for Universal Imaging Utility (UIU) hardware-independent PC imaging technology

MILWAUKEE - April 23, 2009 - Today, Big Bang LLC announced the receipt of Patent # US 7,512,833 B1 from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for the proprietary technology in the Universal Imaging Utility (UIU). This is the first patent approval for the company.

Developed in 2004 by Big Bang LLC, the UIU remains the only program able to create a Windows PC image that, once captured and deployed, will work effectively on any other PC regardless of make or model. A master image is created that contains the necessary hardware configurations, registry settings, drivers and appropriate Microsoft® Sysprep adjustments, to allow cloning and conversion between disparate hardware platforms.

The patent is a significant milestone in solidifying Big Bang as the definitive leader in hardware-independent PC imaging. "Our customers have been aware of, and excited by, our technology from the outset," stated owner Adam Murphy, "the patent issuance, however, reinforces our credibility within the IT world."

The UIU has been effectively deployed to over 1.5 million PC's worldwide for companies, government and healthcare agencies, and educational institutions.

LOCAL software developer, Big Bang LLC, releases version 4.0
IT departments more efficient with latest version of Universal Imaging Utility.

MILWAUKEE - January 16, 2009 - Today, Big Bang LLC releases the Universal Imaging Utility (UIU) version 4.0 including new upgrades and features. With IT departments in Milwaukee and around the world struggling with budget cuts and more stringent demands on productivity, local company Big Bang is doing what it can to increase efficiency.

The latest version of the UIU adds additional pre-deployment discovery tools and a new graphic user interface to create even greater ease for the user and allow for more detailed support. The UIU's functionality enables universal deployment of a master Windows image across an entire environment regardless of hardware type or manufacturer. This allows IT departments to maintain best practices, be proactive with security updates, and gain measurable return on investment.

The release of version 4.0 is a benchmark for Big Bang and their mission to create a unique and effective deployment solution for their customers. Said Big Bang president Adam Murphy, "Aside from technical challenges, IT faces two main business challenges. First, despite obvious productivity benefits, IT is not considered a source of revenue, instead, it is viewed as an expense. Second, IT gets the most attention when a failure occurs - the network is down, for example - leading to a skewed quality perspective. We believe our job is to help IT with both their bottom line and their internal image."

Since 2004, the UIU has enabled IT departments to save considerable time and money. Today, Big Bang adds new features to continue to alleviate some of the financial burden IT departments are facing. The goal of version 4.0 is to make the maintenance and deployment of one Universal Windows image even more efficient. The new functionality of version 4.0 allows users to assess their existing environment in more detail, and make appropriate adjustments before deployment, further increasing the efficiency of the program.

The UIU has been effectively deployed to over 1 million PC's worldwide for companies, government and healthcare agencies and educational institutions.
